• Stop Chasing Attention. Start Building Trust
    May 14 2026

You spend days — sometimes weeks — building the perfect marketing campaign. Your webinars are polished, your emails are perfectly written, and everything looks professional. You put enormous effort into making every detail feel right.

But when it all goes live, the sales barely move.

After all that work, you’re left wondering why something that looked so slick didn’t convert the way you expected.

In this episode of The Power of Two, I sit down with Eli Natoli, a marketing strategist, author, and host of the Marketing Your Truth podcast. Eli helps entrepreneurs grow profitable businesses by focusing on one thing most people overlook: Trust

After years of watching capable business owners burn out chasing attention, Eli developed the Serve Event Method—a relationship-driven approach designed to replace webinars, pitch-heavy launches, and scattered marketing efforts with a single, high-impact experience.

We explore why polished marketing alone no longer creates connection, and why trust is what ultimately gets people engage, respond, and buy.

At the core of her work is a powerful shift: marketing isn’t about doing more—it’s about creating clarity, connection, and confidence.

Catch these highlights from our discussion....

    >> Why “more content” isn’t the answer—and what actually drives conversions today

    >> How trust has become the most valuable currency in business

    >> Why most webinars fail (and what audiences are really tired of)

    >> How to create events that build connection, credibility, and sales—without pressure

    >> The difference between teaching for value and building confidence that converts

    >> What to look for in a joint venture partner to protect your reputation

    And much more…

One of the biggest takeaways from this conversation is simple but powerful:

“People don’t need more persuasion. They need clarity.”

In a crowded, sceptical market, the businesses that grow aren’t the loudest - they’re the ones that create trust, they feel aligned, and they're relatable.

For partnerships, especially, this matters even more. When you promote someone else, you’re putting your own reputation on the line. The right partners aren’t just people who have reach - they’re the ones with credibility, who share your values, and who are ultimately trusted by their audience.

  • How Laura Sprinkle Went From Zero Sales to Crushing It with Just One Partnership
    May 7 2026

What do you do when your product launch goes live… and nobody buys?

That’s exactly the situation Laura Sprinkle found herself in after running a webinar launch supported by affiliate partners. Twenty-four hours in, there were no sales coming through, emotions were high, and it felt like the launch was failing. But one partnership changed everything.

In this episode of The Power of Two, Danny interviews Laura Sprinkle, founder of Rootabl, an affiliate partnership platform designed to help course creators and entrepreneurs build stronger, more profitable collaborations. Laura has helped generate more than $50 million in affiliate revenue for clients ranging from emerging entrepreneurs to seven-figure industry leaders, with her expertise featured in Forbes and leading business podcasts.

In this week's episode, Laura shares how a trusted affiliate partner helped her pivot a struggling launch into a huge success — and why the future of partnerships isn’t about transactions, obligation, or “you promote me, I’ll promote you.” Instead, it’s about trust, generosity, personalization, and building relationships that genuinely serve your audience.

Throughout the conversation, Danny and Laura explore what makes partnerships thrive, why appreciation is one of the most overlooked growth strategies in business, and how a small number of aligned partners can completely transform the trajectory of a launch.

Catch these highlights from our discussion....

    >> Why Laura’s launch initially looked like a complete failure, and the conversation with one partner that turned everything around

    >> How just 8 affiliates helped quadruple Laura's launch revenue

    >> Why “clean energy” matters in partnerships and promotions

    >> The “Attract, Activate, Amplify, Appreciate” framework that will help you crush your partnerships

    >> How frustrating it can be track affiliate activity, and how Laura built her own app, Rootabl to solve this problem

    >> Why it often takes just a handful of great partners to drive the majority of your sales

    And much more!

Laura’s story shows how quickly a launch can turn around when you have the right people in your corner. You'll hear first-hand about the emotional reality of launches, the importance of having partners you can brainstorm with when things don't go according to plan, and why a small number of deeply engaged affiliates will almost always outperform a huge list of disengaged promoters.

  • The Partnership That Helped Jose Pereira Survive Five Years of Prison
    Mar 13 2026

Being an entrepreneur can be lonely. You carry the responsibility, make the decisions, and often face challenges on your own. But imagine facing true isolation—alone in a prison cell.

In this episode of The Power of Two, we hear the extraordinary story of Jose Pereira, who was wrongfully imprisoned in Venezuela for nearly five years on fabricated charges.

Jose Pereira is a best-selling author, international speaker, resilience coach, and former CEO of Citgo Petroleum. After a long career in the oil and gas industry, Jose was preparing to retire in 2017 when he was called to a meeting in Caracas. What he thought was a routine presentation turned into an ambush.

Jose and five colleagues were arrested and accused of being American spies. The media later dubbed them the “Citgo Six.” After enduring harsh conditions and years of uncertainty, Jose was eventually released in a prisoner exchange and now dedicates his life to teaching resilience and leadership.

One of the most powerful lessons from Jose’s story is that survival—and success—rarely happens alone. Jose's first year of imprisonment was in solitary confinement. When he was finally placed together with his fellow executives, they created what they called a “survivor plan,” assigning roles based on each person’s strengths. By supporting each other, respecting expertise, and creating structure, they formed a partnership that helped them endure unimaginable circumstances.

Catch these highlights from our discussion....

    >> Why entrepreneurs often struggle when they try to do everything alone

    >> How respecting the expertise of others on your team brings you closer together raises everyone's performance

    >>The importance of routine and structure during difficult times

    >> How strong relationships support resilience and mental wellbeing

    >> Why humility is essential for effective leadership

    >> How the power of collaboration can help you overcome even the most adverse challenges in your business and your life

Jose’s story is a powerful reminder that resilience is rarely a solo effort. Whether in business or life, the right people around you can make the hardest journeys possible—and even transformative.

  • What It Really Means to Be JV Ready
    Jan 29 2026

You’ve heard that Joint Venture partnerships are one of the fastest ways to grow your business.

    But when you try them…

    Partners don’t promote.
    Audiences don’t show up.
    Sales don’t land.

    So what’s missing?

The issue probably isn’t the partners… it's that you're not JV ready.

Most entrepreneurs jump into JVs believing that exposure alone will create growth. But without the right foundations in place, even the best partnerships fall flat.

In this episode of The Power of Two, I’m joined by award-winning business strategist Estie Starr, who built a seven-figure business without paid ads and now uses Joint Ventures as a core growth strategy. But Estie didn’t find success with JVs overnight. Her first attempts fell flat — because she, too, wasn’t JV ready.

Catch these highlights from our discussion....

    >> What it actually means to be JV ready in today’s market

    >> Why Estie’s early JV attempts fell flat — and what she changed

    >> The danger of sending JV leads straight to a sales offer

    >> Why relationship-first partnerships outperform transactional ones

    >> The memorable “Trix vs Cornflakes” rule for market stand-out

    >> The non-negotiable foundations every successful JV must have

    And much more...

Even if you attract outstanding partners to work with you, Joint Ventures won’t deliver results if your offer is weak, your messaging unclear, or your audience disengaged.

As Estie reveals, JVs don’t repair broken foundations — they amplify what’s already there. When you become truly JV ready — once you've built an audience, have a compelling offer, and are clear about who are the right partners for you — partnerships stop feeling unpredictable and start becoming reliable, repeatable growth strategies.

  • You Don’t Have to Do It All Alone: Turning Solopreneurship Into a Team Effort
    Jan 19 2026

As entrepreneurs, we’re taught to be strong, self-sufficient, and to have all the answers.

But what if the very thing holding your business back is the belief that you can do it all yourself?

In this episode of The Power of Two, Danny Bermant speaks with Andrea Isaacs, founder of the Emotional and Life Mastery Institute and creator of the EQ Quiz. Andrea knows firsthand that growth doesn’t happen alone — the key is being willing to ask for help and support in the areas where you’re not strong.

After nearly dying on an operating table and confronting the fear of leaving her gifts unexpressed, Andrea committed her life to helping entrepreneurs live fully and make their impact now.

Her clients in 30 countries have transformed self-doubt into unshakeable confidence, building six- and seven-figure businesses by aligning their inner world with the impact they’re here to create.

    >> How partnerships allow you to ask for support without feeling vulnerable.

    >> The mindset shift required to see potential partners as allies, not competition.

    >> How reciprocity and non-transactional support create lasting, meaningful partnerships.

    >> Why partnerships are especially powerful for introverted entrepreneurs.

    And much more....

Andrea also explains how joint ventures can multiply your impact by connecting you with aligned audiences, and how the right partner can see your potential in ways you may not even see yourself.

  • JV-Ready or JV-Risky? How to Spot the Right Partners Before You Collaborate
    Jan 5 2026

What actually makes a good JV partner — and how do you spot one before it costs you time, reputation, or revenue?

In this episode of The Power of Two, I am joined by Virginia Muzquiz, partnership strategist and founder of Master Connectors, to unpack what separates powerful, trust-based joint ventures from frustrating, transactional collaborations that go nowhere.

Drawing from decades of real-world experience — from network marketing and franchise leadership to building multi-million-dollar divisions through referrals — Virginia shares the hard-earned lessons most entrepreneurs only learn the hard way: you can’t force alignment, you can’t shortcut trust, and you can’t partner successfully without being JV-ready first.

This conversation goes far beyond “I’ll email for you if you email for me.” Together, we explore how to filter potential partners, why giving value without clarity backfires, and how your offer, follow-through, and relational assets determine whether partnerships will multiply your business — or quietly damage your reputation.

Catch these highlights from our discussion....

    >> Why you can’t turn transactional people into relational partners

    >> The real reason most joint ventures fail before they even begin

    >> How to identify whether someone is JV-ready or JV-risky

    >> Why your offer, marketing, and follow-through matter more than your list size

    >> What “giving value in advance” actually means — and when it’s a mistake

    >> How to use filters, test collaborations, and clear expectations to protect your reputation

    >> What is "sweat equity"? How both this and relational assets can open doors to higher-level partners

    And much more....

This episode is a powerful reminder that successful joint ventures are built on clarity, credibility, and commitment — not convenience.

A good JV partner isn’t defined by list size or promises, but by alignment of values, readiness to deliver, and consistent follow-through. As Virginia makes clear, partnerships work best when both parties know exactly what they’re bringing to the table, communicate openly about expectations, and protect each other’s reputations as carefully as their own.

When you focus on being JV-ready and choosing partners intentionally, collaboration stops feeling risky — and starts becoming one of the most reliable growth strategies in your business.

  • Partnerships that Sing — How Monique McDonald Found Her True Voice
    Nov 12 2025

Who makes the best strategic partner?

It's not necessarily the person with the biggest network or the best connections. Sometimes it’s the person who knows you most intimately — who understands your strengths and weaknesses, who knows how to motivate you, and who believes in you when you stop believing in yourself......Your own family.

This week’s special guest is Monique McDonald, a Grammy-nominated opera singer turned transformational voice coach, speaker, and mentor. Monique helps entrepreneurs, coaches, and speakers find their authentic voice, stage presence, and confidence — transforming the way they show up in their business and life.

Monique’s journey began with her first and most profound partnership — her mother, who was also her voice teacher and confidant. “She was the person who believed in me when I stopped believing in myself,” Monique recalls. That early bond shaped how she views every collaboration today — not as a transaction, but as a shared journey of trust, belief, and co-creation.

After her mother’s passing, Monique reinvented herself — moving from the opera stage to helping speakers and entrepreneurs find their authentic, magnetic voice. Along the way, she discovered that partnership isn’t just a business strategy — it’s a way of being. From joint ventures to her “Manifestation Squad,” Monique shows how the right partnerships multiply both impact and joy.

Catch these highlights from our discussion:

    >> How Monique’s first and most powerful partnership — with her mother — shaped her life and career

    >> Why the people who know you most intimately often make the most impactful collaborators

    >> The story behind her “Manifestation Squad” and how they supported each other’s growth

    >> How to move beyond transactional partnerships to creative, heart-led collaboration
