On this episode we were lucky enough to speak with the Fort Worth, Texas straight edge band Spit My Rage. This up and coming band has some seriously good releases the last year and have a lot of really great stuff happening in 2025. We talk about the dynamics of Dallas and Fort Worth hardcore. We also get in to what some of our favorite bands are and who we would kill to open for! It was a really great time talking to them. We are really excited for what they have coming. The album What it is to Burn might be one of the most important albums ever to us. We also talk about their later albums and some of the unreleased songs. Let us know below your favorite Finch album. We had Steve from the band Fortunes TX on with us! We had talked about Fortunes TX last year and were finally able to make the connection to talk about their history and what they currently have going on. They recently signed with Upstate Records and will be dropping three new songs coming up in 2025. They also have several small runs lined up, including dates on the Haywire tour.

We are back on local bands! First up is Decoy, a Louisiana metalcore band. These guys bring out a hard hitting and aggressive metalcore sound. They recently signed with Upstate Records and released a single called Becoming. Second is Stress Test, a thrash band from Portland Oregon. They dropped their self titled album at the end of February. Incorporating awesome sound clips, this band is fast, aggressive and very to the point with one of their songs coming in at 29 seconds long. We had Kendal back from the Richmond, VA band, Heavy is the Head! The band recently signed with Upstate records and has a new EP, titled For Your Loss, come out on 3/21. Make sure you check out their first couple releases and then stream For Your Loss on 3/21!
