  • Top releases of 2025!
    Dec 15 2025

We are getting close to the end of the year so we decided to talk about our best releases that have dropped in 2025! I would say that much of this is to be expected if you've listened through out the year but curious as to what you guys have as well. You are going to hear us talking about a lot of locals with xForever Warx, Die Young, Spit My Rage, and Mask, but we also talk about some of the bigger releases from The Acacia Strain, Spiritworld, End It and Skinhead. Also, Haywire is going to take overall best band of 2025!

  • Interview: Vinny from Funeral Language
    Dec 8 2025

Back with interviews and we've been looking forward to this one! We have Vinny who is the one man band, Funeral Language, coming out of Indianapolis. There are a few of these guys playing this chaotic style in the vein of The Chariot, Every Time I Die, The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc. and I have been super curious about the approach and the thoughts behind the music. He dropped an incredible three song single earlier this year called "Cirque" and has a new album title "Thank you for the dead body" dropping 1.20.2026!

In addition to Funeral Language, be sure to check out Vinny's other band, Best Noodles in Town. A much chiller emo/altrock/pop-punk style sound. Their last EP, Better, I Think, dropped back in June!

  • Local Bands: Innervision (IL) and Playn For Keeps (CO)
    Dec 2 2025

Been a minute, but we are back with two new local bands! First up is Innervision from Springfield, IL. Straight Edge, Hardcore/punk these guys are young! Their first EP was in 2023 and then they release their last EP, Alive & Well, back in April of this year. We were lucky enough to catch these guys at Flyover Fest and their sound was awesome after a few heavy slam bands earlier before them. Next up is Playn For Keeps out of Fort Lupton, CO. These guys are a newer band with their first release in 2024 but they just dropped a couple new singles, Divided we Fail and Fossils. This is heavy metallic hardcore, pulling influence from older bands like Bury Your Dead, Hatebreed, All Out War and more. We talk about them being a little older and how because of that, their politically driven message hits different for us.

Check out both bands and let us know what you think!
