About this listen

Opinions are easy, understanding takes work. What if everything you think you know about “those people”… is wrong?

Welcome to Tell Me More with Nicole Walters - the unfiltered, judgment-free zone where curiosity leads and honest conversations follow.

In a world shaped by echo chambers and algorithms, it’s easy to form opinions about people we’ve never actually met. The sugar baby. The trans woman. The undocumented immigrant. The reality TV star. We’ve heard about them but have we ever heard from them?

That’s what this show is all about.

Born out of Nicole’s 2020 Tough Talk Series, Tell Me More is a space where we refuse to make the world smaller and scarier. There’s no room for hate, racism, or bigotry here—but there’s plenty of room for bold, uncomfortable, and deeply human conversations.

Each week, Nicole sits down with the people you’re most curious about and asks the questions you’ve been too afraid (or too filtered) to ask. It’s raw. It’s candid. It’s not about changing your mind - it’s about giving you the real story so you can make up your own.

You’ll also hear updates on Nicole’s life, business, and family but at its core, this show is a place to listen well, grow together, and build confidence in your own character.

So if you’re ready to break out of your bubble, challenge your assumptions, and hear directly from the source…

This is the podcast you’ve been waiting for.

  • About… When Friendships No Longer Fit (Part 1)
    Dec 23 2025

No one really prepares you for this part: when your life changes, not everyone gets to come with you.

In this 2-part chat we're covering one of your most requested topics: friendship fallouts. And I’m not talking about dramatic blow ups or petty drama. I’m talking about the quiet grief. The slow drifting. The realization that some friendships were tied to a version of you that no longer exists.

Divorce didn’t just change my relationship status, it shifted my entire ecosystem. My family dynamics, my work, my sense of self… and yes, my friendships. Some people couldn’t meet me in this new season. Some revealed things about themselves I didn’t expect. And some simply didn’t have the capacity to support the transition I was moving through.

I’m sharing the hard-earned truths I’ve learned along the way, including:

    • Why certain friendships only work when you stay small, familiar, or unchanged
    • What people’s reactions reveal when your life shifts in a big way
    • Why losing friends during major transitions isn’t failure, it’s growth
    • How to tell the difference between seasonal friends and aligned ones

If you’re navigating divorce, a breakup, a major life pivot, or even just becoming a new version of yourself, this chat is for you.

And don’t miss Part 2, where I go deeper into what I had to release - and what I had to protect - to build my life back better.

  • About Being... a Co-Parent
    Dec 16 2025

"You can love God, you can go to therapy, you can have a new husband and you can still get a petty text from your ex that will send you, okay?"

I used to think co-parenting was for people who failed at marriage... that it was the byproduct of divorce. I now realize that real co-parenting is for people who refuse to fail their kids because you divorce your partner but you don't divorce your children.

What does our co-parenting situation look like though? Let me just say it's not what I thought it would look like.

Hit play for the real stuff - the court documents, the group chats, the new partners, and how to build a good life even when co-parenting is f*ckd up.

  • About... Surviving Gun Violence (with Nelba Márquez-Greene)
    Dec 9 2025

" The rhythm of activism that was expected of [the Sandy Hook families] and the rhythm of my survival were two different rhythms, and I had to pick one to survive. I chose my survival."

Amongst many things, Nelba Márquez-Greene is the mother of Ana Grace, one of the 26 people that lost their lives in the Sandy Hook shooting. In this chat with Nelba, we talk about the trauma, grief, activism, and systemic injustices she has faced since losing her daughter to gun violence.

As a licensed therapist, Nelba beautifully breaks down the intersection of grief, trauma, and injustice, the role that Christian Nationalism and anti-Blackness play in gun violence, and the wins she has celebrated in the fight to decrease gun violence in America.

Friend, I hope this chat speaks to your soul like it did mine. Here are some of the ways you can take action after listening:

    • Learn about the families that lost someone at Sandy Hook: https://mysandyhookfamily.org/
    • Support the work being done at The Ana Grace Project: https://www.anagraceproject.org/
    • Find a local organization that is helping to decrease Gun Violence in your area
