In this episode, we explore the profound connection between the nervous system and our overall wellbeing, highlighting how chronic stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion impact our daily lives. Our guest draws from personal experiences and global insights to share powerful ways we can resolve internal conflicts and reclaim our sense of calm and energy.

She introduces us to innovative, science-backed methods that move beyond traditional approaches, guiding us toward genuine relief and lasting wellbeing. Her insights encourage us to believe that we can restore balance to our nervous systems and rediscover the vibrant, energized lives we are meant to live.

    FAYE LAWAND

Meet Faye Lawand – a seasoned expert in helping high-achieving women in midlife to overcome inner turmoil so that they can feel like themselves again. Originally from the Middle East, Faye has lived in 13 countries across four continents, giving her a unique global perspective on the human condition and the universal challenges of living with chronic stress. Fluent in three languages and conversational in a fourth, she knows firsthand that struggles with mental health, exhaustion, and pain transcend borders and backgrounds.

Her personal journey is both inspiring and transformative. Her first encounter with burnout came while living on a Caribbean island – a place people go to escape their troubles, not find them. This was the first of three significant burnouts that shaped her path.

Now, as an Internal Conflict Resolution Expert, Faye mentors others in overcoming exhaustion, chronic pain, and overwhelm. Her methods are modern, science-backed, and designed to deliver results without relying on medication, meditation, or extensive talk therapy.

At the core of her work is her signature 3-step Unstuck Formula™, a simple, science-backed method for high-achieving women to go from exhausted and overwhelmed to energised and in control in under 12 weeks. This proprietary system has supported thousands of women in 15 countries across 5 continents over the past 6 years to break free from overwhelm, reclaim their energy, and restore their well-being.

Episode 316 - Mobility for Life with Jeff Bailey

In this episode, we explore the transformative power of yoga for lifelong mobility and joint health. Our guest shares his unique approach, developed over decades of teaching and personal experience, that offers hope beyond conventional fitness methods, emphasizing joint care and healing movement at any age.

He invites us to discover how gentle, targeted practices can restore flexibility, alleviate pain, and support our long-term mobility. His journey and innovative techniques remind us that maintaining our independence and vitality is possible throughout life, helping us to move freely and joyfully as we age.

    JEFF BAILEY

Jeff’s life has centered around yoga since his first experience with the practice in 1985. He has taught over 13,000 classes and workshops, owned studios, and is the founder of Avita Yoga. Jeff Bailey is an expert at restoring joint health. He has helped thousands overcome pain and return to their favorite activities. Working with Jeff, many have avoided joint replacements because of his time-tested method for cleansing and remodeling joints, as well as strengthening bones. In an era where muscles and extreme fitness have taken center stage, Jeff brings a revolutionary approach to health that addresses the root problems—arthritis, degeneration, and limited mobility.

At age fifty, Jeff incurred a high-speed ski accident that severely damaged his hip. The turning point came when he realized joints crave compression. Jeff is a trained Rolfer, has appeared on numerous podcasts, and runs the annual Avita Yoga Teacher Training. He leads international retreats and workshops and has authored "The Yoga Mind" and his upcoming book, "Mobility For Life." Jeff has dedicated his life to helping people live happy, mobile, and independent lives. Now, in his sixties, he and countless others are living proof that Avita works. His practical approach to yoga helps restore joint health and maintain mobility for life.
