  • The Everton Heritage Show -003-
    Oct 10 2025

Recorded before Everton played Crystal Palace on Sunday 5th October '25, which turned out to be Hill Dickinson's first 'last minute winner'.

Joining us this week is John Shearon, co-founder of the Everton Ruleteros Society, which is a collective dedicated to honouring the history and ties between Everton FC in Liverpool, and the clubs that bear our name in South America, including Everton de Viña Del Mar of Chile.

John tells the story of how Everton CD came to exist, as well as five other amateur clubs across the continent.

There are also some lovely personal stories, and some amazing discoveries from his journeys around the world, which led to the organisation of Everton versus Everton at Goodison Park in 2010.

  • The Everton Heritage Show -001-
    Sep 19 2025

The show makes its debut! We had something of a 'soft launch' of our new venue before Everton played Aston Villa on Saturday 13th September, the perfect opportunity to get the ball rolling on our new broadcast.

Who better to kick us off than author, journalist, and Chairman of Everton FC Heritage Society - Ken Rogers, and prolific writer and historian Rob Sawyer.

We discuss the Society itself and our credentials as a collective, this weeks Heritage page in the match programme by David Prentice, our ongoing projects to fund gravestone restorations and repairs, and Everton Women making Goodison their new home.
