About this listen
Recorded before Everton played Crystal Palace on Sunday 5th October '25, which turned out to be Hill Dickinson's first 'last minute winner'.
Joining us this week is John Shearon, co-founder of the Everton Ruleteros Society, which is a collective dedicated to honouring the history and ties between Everton FC in Liverpool, and the clubs that bear our name in South America, including Everton de Viña Del Mar of Chile.
John tells the story of how Everton CD came to exist, as well as five other amateur clubs across the continent.
There are also some lovely personal stories, and some amazing discoveries from his journeys around the world, which led to the organisation of Everton versus Everton at Goodison Park in 2010.
Come and visit us before kick off on a match day to learn more, or
