Two Australians sitting down to talk Doctor Who and I think what sets this podcast apart is its tone. There’s no performative outrage, no algorithm-chasing extremes. Even when the hosts disagree, there’s no bickering for effect, just solid conversation. The balance between affection and critical distance feels exactly right. When something doesn’t work, they’ll say so, but with context and perspective. When something does work, they’re generous about it. Judging by the monthly mailbag, they’ve built a healthy audience which makes it all the more puzzling that I don’t hear more fans in my own circle talking about them.
