As we continue our sermon series, Why Jesus, we explore what it means for Jesus to be Lord. In this conversation, Riley & James talk about what "extol" means, our conceptions of God as Lord, and the connection between Jesus' death and martyrdom.

After a two year hiatus, the TFNaz Podcast returns with a new co-host, Riley Shaw, joining Pastor James. They reintroduce the podcast, chat about 90's music, and discuss the characteristics of Jesus as introduced by the sermon on September 7, 2025.

In this bonus episode of the TFNaz Podcast, Andy and James walk through the process by which Pastor Andy was elected as the next District Superintendent for the Wisconsin District in the Church of the Nazarene. They also chat a little bit about what a District Superintendent does and they briefly outline the process that Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene will go through in selecting the next Lead Pastor.

This is also the final episode in which Andy will be a cohost for the TFNaz Podcast. I (James) am so thankful that we had the opportunity to do this podcast over the last year. It's been a great joy to have these fun and formative conversations with my friend, Andy. I am tentatively planning for the podcast to continue into the future - though the form the podcast will take and the frequency of the episodes are to be determined. That said, my hope is to start recording and producing Season 2 of the TFNaz Podcast in September 2023.
