    The weight and influence that we allow social media to carry in our lives is beyond ridiculous. From perceived slights to nuanced likes or dislikes, so many people take these as real and then allow it to create issues in their lives and relationships. Not only friend/work/love relationships, but also our relationships with ourselves. It controls our thoughts and emotions and a lot of times doesn't or shouldn't be reflected as real life.

    How do you scale a mountain? One Step at a time! Sounds cliche, right? Well, the reality is, that it is true. The problem that we have is allowing the task to be overwhelming and we get in our heads and then we just never do anything about it and we stay right where we don't want to be! Doing it in smaller doses gives you a feeling of accomplishment and makes hitting those goals a little easier!!

    Holiday Time is difficult for a lot of folks. Navigating loneliness vs being alone, judgment from family and friends, and even social anxiety and awkward situations makes a lot us not want to go anywhere, however we get upset when we are by ourselves. We can't have it both ways! You have to get out of your own way and fight through some of what you're feeling and allowing yourself to think in order to not be lonely or alone at this time of the year!!! You can do it, seriously, thinking about it more difficult than actually doing the damn thing!!
