Ethan explores the theme of "wholeness" as laid out in Matthew 5, focusing on the Beatitudes. He emphasized that true wholeness is found in Jesus and involves a daily commitment to embody the characteristics Jesus describes, such as humility, mercy, and peacemaking. Ethan reminded the congregation that achieving these traits requires sacrifice and rejecting cultural norms that contradict Jesus' teachings, and stressed that this journey is one of progression, not perfection. Ultimately, he urged everyone to examine what they are truly chasing in life and to realign their focus on Jesus to experience the fullness of wholeness.
