• From Disappointment to Delight

    Failure is always going to be part of our identity as humans in a fallen world. Disappointment is always going to be an unfortunate part of humanity, and that is truly discouraging at times. But it does not have to be a defining characteristic of who we are. Failure is not what God sees when He gazes upon us, His children. And because of that, failure and disappointment should never be what we see first when we see ourselves, either. We are made clean and righteous in Christ, as His children, THAT is who we are. That is what God has always seen when He sees us, and that is how we should focus our eyes, as well.
