  • Dragons in the Parables | Pride Goes Before a Fall
    Aug 23 2025

Greetings, young slayers! In today’s episode, Sir Rolland warns us about the danger of pride through the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector in Luke 18. Pride always leads to a fall—just as it did for Satan, Adam and Eve, and so many of us when we start boasting and comparing ourselves to others. With stories of St. Rose of Lima’s humility, and even a lesson learned the hard way on a wiffle ball field, we’re reminded that bragging only feeds the Red Dragon. The only true victory comes when we give the glory back to God.

Stay humble… and slay the Red Dragon of pride!

  • Ever Ancient, Ever New
    Aug 16 2025

Greetings, young slayers! Today we reflect on the words of St. Augustine—“Ever ancient, ever new.” Like St. Augustine, we’ve all been tempted to worship the gifts instead of the Giver. God’s creation—music, art, stories—is meant to draw us closer to Him, not pull us away. The dragons want us distracted, but the saints remind us that every good gift points back to its source: God Himself.

This week, I challenge you to look at what you watch, read, and listen to. Do they inspire you to grow in virtue… or lure you toward the dragons? That’s why we’ve created new Dragon Slayers music—16 songs to help you remember the truth, fight the battle, and conquer every dragon!

  • Dragons in the Parables | Be Prepared
    Aug 9 2025

Greetings, young slayers! In today’s episode, Sir Rolland learns the hard way what happens when you’re not ready for the Master’s return. Through the parable in Luke 12, Jesus reminds us to stay vigilant, faithful, and dragon-slaying—whether He comes early, late, or when we least expect it. Slaying sloth, wrath, greed, and gluttony takes daily effort… and it all starts now, not later.

Stay awake… and slay dragons before the Master returns!
