 My name is Miguel Ramirez and I am the host to the Sasquatch Theory Podcast! In 2019 I encountered a clan of Sasquatch and I was able to lay eyes on them several times! I started creating content in hopes of capturing these things on film! I began reaching out to like-minded people who have had encounters of their own to better understand the phenomenon!     In this episode, I sit down with Larry, a military veteran from West Virginia and New Jersey, to discuss an extraordinary childhood experience that reshaped his understanding of the world. At just 10 years old, Larry witnessed what appeared to be a living dinosaur-like creature, followed by the discovery of a large skeletal carcass being consumed by buzzards—an experience his father found compelling enough to investigate firsthand.

    Larry explains that his experience is far from isolated. Across the United States, there are numerous reports of large reptilian and dinosaur-like creatures, sightings that many dismiss but others document with striking similarities. We dive into why these encounters are often ignored, ridiculed, or forgotten—and what they might mean if even a fraction are true.

    The conversation expands into ancient history and forbidden texts, including the Book of Enoch, and how its descriptions may align with modern cryptid encounters today. From suppressed history to creatures that “should not exist,” this episode explores the uncomfortable possibility that our understanding of Earth’s past—and present—is incomplete.

    In this powerful episode of Sasquatch Theory, Miguel speaks with Shane from Canada, a Native American man living on a reservation, who shares deeply personal encounters and ancestral teachings about the Sasquatch—referred to in his culture as Mestopiao.

    Shane recounts his first experiences in British Columbia and explains why many elders warn against speaking openly about these beings. He shares stories of gifting rituals, tobacco offerings used to rebalance karma, and smudging ceremonies involving sweet grass. Shane describes hearing trees cracking, feeling watched, and later learning that the Sasquatch appeared after offerings were left with good intentions.

    One of Shane’s most striking experiences includes witnessing what he believes was a mother Sasquatch holding a baby, reinforcing the belief that these beings are not monsters, but intelligent entities with families and social structure. He explains how juveniles are playful and mischievous, while adults are territorial and serious.

    The conversation also explores darker territory—warnings about red-eyed entities, shapeshifters, skinwalkers, and other beings that imitate Sasquatch for deceptive purposes. According to tribal elders, not everything that looks like Bigfoot truly is.

    Shane shares how Sasquatch are viewed as the policemen of the forest, enforcing balance and responding to human behavior and accumulated bad karma. He also draws fascinating parallels between Indigenous creation stories, cryptid lore, and the Bible—revealing similarities that suggest these truths may be far older than modern religion.

    In this episode, I interview Danny from the mountains of North Carolina as he shares a lifetime of unexplained encounters. His first sighting happened at just ten years old while spending a summer day in Evergreen. Danny and his friends witnessed an eight-foot white, muscular creature walking behind an old piece of machinery — turning its head to watch them before moving away with an unusual, gliding motion.

    Years later, deep in the Asheville mountains, Danny experienced an intense series of wood knocks, powerful tree shaking, strange movement across the ridge, and a metallic, musky odor that many witnesses associate with Sasquatch territory. Something in those woods was closely watching and reacting to their presence.

    But Danny’s most mysterious encounter happened inside his own cabin. He awoke to a glowing yellow orb with a shocked face inside of it, drifting across the room and leaving sparks before disappearing into a glowing closet.

    These experiences raise questions about North Carolina’s white mountain Sasquatch, the role of energy orbs, and the connection between physical and non-physical phenomena in the Appalachian region.
