Ana’s Journey:
- A lifestyle change in 1 year, as a result of setting both short & longer term, & realistic goals
- Currently 25lbs from her ultimate goal
- Started at 286, now 183, working towards 165-170 lbs Down 30% body fat (from 60% to 33%)
- Also a result of having the right team and support system
- Ana hired a trainer, nutritionist & psychology
- Still under construction & enjoying the process

When enough was enough:
- January 29th of 2020 after stepping on the scale
- It resulted in Ana looking herself in the mirror and having a heart-to-heart conversation
- “Today is the last day that you will ever see that number, you will never see anything higher”
Goals:
- “I knew in order to achieve my goals I needed more than diet. It needed to be a mindset. I needed a lifestyle change”
- Be reasonable/realistic
- “Miracles Don’t happen over night”
- “Appreciate the process and the season that you’re in”

- For her health (It was now or never)

Success & Mental Hurdles:
- Having to learn to say no
- Me vs me (”a battle within myself”)
Sacrifices:
Limiting diet for a time period
- Cutting alcohol for 9 months
- Sugar for 6 months
- Carbs for 3 months

Setting a game plan, a progressive approach
Ask for help
- A great trainer
- A nutritionist
- A psychologist
