With over 20 years of experience in mental health, Ann brings a blend of professional training and lived experience to the table. She holds a Master’s in Theology and has made it her mission to bridge the gap between faith, identity, trauma, and healing—especially for queer communities.

In this conversation, Ann opens up about growing up in a queer household in the 80s, the realities of mental health challenges queer people face today and what it was like attending a religious conversion therapy conference as a queer woman. Yes, you read that right.

When it came to my career, I struggled with the pressure to stay on a “safe” path for financial stability, instead of following my passions.
