• Life as a Setter with Coach Paige Bogue!
    May 12 2025

This past season at Rogue330, our club setters got to work with Malone Grad Assistant, Paige Bogue, who enjoyed a terrific volleyball career as a setter in High School, Club, and College, where she posted more than 4,000 assists!! Paige joins our podcast to tell her stores and encourage younger players and setters to keep growing and loving the game of Volleyball!

Paige (Brenner) Bogue, a standout volleyball player from Copley, Ohio, had a remarkable collegiate career at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), where she played as a setter for the Lady Cougars. Over her tenure, she accumulated over 4,000 career assists, a testament to her exceptional playmaking abilities. In the 2022 season, she achieved a significant milestone by recording her 4,000th assist during a match against Huntington University, contributing 40 assists, eight digs, and two blocks to the team's victory.

Brenner's performance on the court was complemented by her academic excellence. In 2022, she earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, recognizing her as one of the nation's top student-athletes for her combined performances on the court and in the classroom. She maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while pursuing a degree in psychology, underscoring her commitment to both athletics and academics.

Her contributions were instrumental in MVNU's success, as she helped lead the team to a 25-6 overall record and a 10-6 mark in the Crossroads League during the 2022 season. Brenner's leadership and skill set earned her All-Crossroads League First Team honors in 2022, solidifying her status as one of the premier setters in the league. Her legacy at MVNU is marked by her dedication, skill, and the positive impact she had on her teammates and the program as a whole.
