With winds reaching up to 170 mph, this tornado traveled over 152 miles, resulting in 10 fatalities and injuring 146 people. We’ll delve into the meteorological conditions that led to this catastrophic event, share harrowing survivor stories, and discuss the long-term impact on the community.

    • 2020 Easter Sunday Tornadoes: Fast forward to April 12, 2020, when a widespread tornado outbreak struck the Southeastern U.S. This outbreak produced 141 tornadoes across 10 states, tragically claiming 32 lives and injuring 257 people. We’ll recount the chaos of that Easter Sunday, highlighting the resilience of communities as they faced the dual challenges of tornadoes and subsequent flooding.
