This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Sparkman puts together a panel of qualified members from our own church body on physical and nutritional health! Stewarding our physical health doesn’t always feel spiritual, but it is. If our bodies aren’t functioning well, we can’t carry out the mission God has for us. Topics discussed are on the pillars of health, nutrition, and exercise!

This special service is our annual Student Takeover, where our Resonate Kids and Youth get to lead church on Sunday morning! From worship, to serving, to the message itself, our Kids and Youth get to show us what God has laid on their hearts, and everything they've been learning! We have some sweet testimonies and a mini sermon from our RL Kids, and a panel on the topic of parent relationships from our RL Youth!

Stewarding our calling is framed by a simple mercy from God. God is sovereign, God loves, and God intends no pressure in the life of a disciple. The church often overvalues its own contribution, undervalues God’s sovereignty, and doubts the magnitude at which God can move. When Elijah hid in fear, God met him not in earthquake or fire, but in a whisper. God renamed Gideon “mighty warrior” while he cowered in a winepress. Our past failures, shame, or self-doubt often shout louder than God’s quiet assurance - but what we label as disqualifications become divine appointments when surrendered. Identity is drawn from redemption, not performance!
