Religious Freedom in the workplace

  • Summary

  • Please take a minute past whatever you believe about religion and how it should apply in the workplace and see if you really want the government of any kind to force you into either quitting or firing you over them. This is a hot topic in the Christian/gay communities mostly but I ask those on both sides to look at the case of Starr Transport vs. EEOC case. If you feel religious rights aren't valid in the workplace, then put your gender, identity, personal property rights and anything up for grabs or searches by any company for any reason. If you allow government to say you must say marry someone against your faith, are you ok with them jailing people, how about putting them to death if they refuse? How about taking their property? Where does your moral line stop as to the punishment? Read comments in these articles and you'll see which side demands the government completely abuse their power, this leads to civil war eventually and we cannot afford to do that again. The same government many on the left demand to install are the same ones already tried and killed off gays currently and in the past, they take what they want, the only equality is those that have the guns and power at the time. Just stop feeling and think ahead.
