    Like most humans, you want to feel seen, heard, and understood. As someone who’s highly sensitive, you are VERY attuned to how present other people are when they are with you.

    I’ve found over the years of working with highly sensitive humans that they crave this deeper level of attention (I do too!)

    And if this is you, because you're so empathetic and tuned in, others feel seen, heard, and understood in their presence, but you may rarely experience this.

    In today’s episode, I’m sharing a pattern I’ve noticed when this particular dynamic is playing out and how you may be contributing to it 🫣

    Have you ever followed generic advice about boundaries that just didn’t feel good?

    While there’s no shortage of chatter about boundaries out there, I find myself having to pick and choose what works for me as someone who’s highly sensitive.

    Some of it feels harsh or it doesn’t take into consideration the relationship with the person on the other side. And it definitely lacks nuance, which is why I’m excited to have this conversation about boundaries and what I see as particularly helpful when you’re a highly sensitive person.

    • why setting boundaries can feel extra challenging when you're highly sensitive
    • why getting to and working the root of what’s making it feel hard is really where your energy is best spent (vs pushing through and short-circuiting your nervous system)
