  • #130: Propaganda
    Jul 10 2025

Join WebEater, B52, Murph, and Sandwich as they tackle this episode's prompt: Propaganda! Did you know that "propaganda" was originally a committee of cardinals established in Rome for propagating the faith throughout the world? The word is now used, famously, as anything influencing personal or public opinion.

  • #128: U and Non-U
    May 26 2025

According to Brewer's, U and Non-U is an outdated term to describe the differences between English social classes based on usage of certain words. "U" is upper class and "Non-U" is non-upper class. For example, it is U to say "luncheon" and Non-U to say "lunch." Does the language we use determine our reality, and if so to what extent? Interesting questions. Perhaps ponder them while giving our episode a listen.

Stories start around 19:05. Happy writing everyone!
