I sat down with a new artist in town who brings his unique hip hop style to Trinidad. Marcus Levar moved here in January with his family and is on a mission to spread his art all over town. He joined us for Showdown 2 in February and hasn't slowed down a bit to get his tour lined up in the DMV (Delaware, Massachusetts, Vermont) area which he heads out on shortly after his 2nd show in town this Saturday at Mutiny Trinidad.

It's been a few months since I dusted off the ol mic so I'm def a lil rusty but it's great to get back in the swing of things and share conversation and laughter with some of my favorite people in Trinidad Colorado. I sat down with a cool cat who hangs out around Trinidad - he splits his time between here and Taos and if you’ve been to Pack Mule Mercantile on Main Street, you’ve not only seen his art hanging but have probably shared a laugh with him. He’s having an art show in the PMM Gallery for December’s First Friday.
