  • [Ep 53] Birdemic: Shock and Terror (Part 2) [Bad Movie May]
    May 16 2025

We watched this film for free, but it cost us everything...

This week, the Popcorn Jabber crew continue & conclude their dicusssion on the 2010 dumpster fire of a film, Birdemic: Shock and Terror. This comes as part of our series called Bad Movie May, a month dedicated to discussing the most terrible films of all-time.

    In this episode:

    • We investigate how this film promotes an environmental message... in the worst way possible.
    • Daz tries to point out the credit where it's due for this film... which includes a bopping dance routine, and a decent mother actor.
    • We give our ratings... the question is, how low will we go?

Also, stay tuned until the end of this episode to find out which movie we will go into next for Bad Movie May!

  • [Ep 52] Birdemic: Shock and Terror (Part 1) [Bad Movie May]
    May 9 2025

This month, the Popcorn Jabber crew are beginning a mini-series called Bad Movie May, a whole month dedicated to talking about the films that are widely considered to be the worst of all time. This week, we are starting off with the 2010 film - Birdemic: Shock and Terror. The shock and terror is certainly there, but not in the way the director intended it.

But as usual, the crew begins with What's Poppin, and at the time of recording, it was May the 4th! So of course, we had to make it Star Wars themed!

    • Daz talks about how Revenge Of The Sith got re-released in cinemas to celebrate it's 20th anniversary, and how much it earned in the box office just from the re-release!
    • Oli discusses his thoughts on the new Star Wars: Grand Collection video game bundle.
    • Lilli has some morbid curiosity for the newly announced Star Wars series starring Ryan Gosling.
    • And to wrap it up (although it's not Star Wars themed...) Oli reviews the new Thunderbolts* film that has been released!

  • [Ep 51] The Princess Diaries (Part 3) [Ft. Maz Maio]
    May 2 2025

Raise your Genovian flags, because it's time for Daz, Oli, Lilli and special guest Maz to wrap up their discussion on The Princess Diaries!

    In this conclusion:

    • The crew notice some scenes which potentially show Mia's character as shallow in her emotions.
    • We have a theory about the beach party scene - Were Josh, Lana, and the press all secretly working together to humiliate Mia?
    • Lilli poses a question to the group - Was it right for Mia's dad to trade his family for the kingdom?
