When you get serious about launching your podcast, you might ask whether you should script your episodes. Today, I'm going to let you into my reasoning behind why I don't believe that it's a good idea.

Your podcast can become a very powerful front end of your business. After all, business is personal and we choose to spend money with people that we know, like and trust. What we don't trust is someone who doesn't trust their own words, their own knowledge and ability. Allow yourself to share and be real and honest, because that is what makes a podcast valuable for your listener.

Success is relative. With your podcast, it isn’t all about massive download numbers, but much more about how you are engaging and retaining your listeners, and how useful you are making the podcast for your business. So let’s discuss how you can track your podcast success.

How can you make money from your podcast with merchandise, and is that the right decision for you?

If you want your podcast to be a valuable asset for your business, you have to get intentional about opening yourself up to different possibilities for you to monetise your podcast. Here are some of the ways you can consider to start monetising your show.

• Are you regularly using your show to talk about your products, offers and services?
• How you can develop affiliate relationships
• The best way to do sponsored ads if you’re early in the business
• How merchandise can elevate your brand status without you having a huge outlay

For business and entrepreneurship, the best and most important thing is that you are promoting your own products and services. Talk about them and build your own funnel, above and beyond, before looking for sponsorship.

What is polarising content in a podcast and should you do it?

What You’ll Learn:

• The reasons that people choose to do polarising content
• What you need to think about before you decide to put some polarising content out there
• Why you want to consider the legal situation with the content you're willing to share
• How you might end up breaking your own insurance by putting out polarising content 

So is creating polarising content worth it? To gain respect and to have impact, you don't need to say things on a podcast that could get you in trouble and could massively devastate your business. However, if you want to do it, be aware that it is a tactic, so use it carefully and mindfully.

Why your listeners are not coming back to listen to your show, and why your numbers might be dropping? This is something that even the most accomplished coaches who are podcasters are struggling with.

While I believe that having a quality microphone when you're podcasting is important, that doesn't always mean you have to be in an office or studio environment. Today, I'm going to run through some things that would improve your recordings on the phone as well as in an on-the-go setting, and still make sure that you have great quality.
