Though overlooked too often in many Christianchurches, 22 July marks the official Feast Day of Mary the Magdalene. In this episode, Pastor Jule shares thecanonical Scripture’s witness that has recorded at least portions of the life and role of Mary the Magdalene in the life of Jesus the Christ. As legends abound about Mary the Magdalene, Pastor Jule also makes mention of a few and leads in a form of Heart-Centered Prayer that connects back to Christian traditions flowing from her witness.

Summer is the season of growth in the natural world all around! Pastor Jule speaks of our need to take stock of what’s growing in our own lives. She then guides a meditation to connect within to listen for what is growing – noticing being the first step to celebration or transformation.

15 June 2025 brings the celebration of Fathers’ Day at the same time the Christian season celebrates Trinity Sunday. Reflecting on the joys – and sometimes challenges – of connecting with our fathers, Pastor Jule encourages all to give thanks for the gift of fatherhood. She reminds how mysterious every human being is, no matter how well we know another. Likening such knowing to how knowable and mysterious the Divine is, Pastor Jule speaks of the Trinity of God. She then holds space to connect with the Great Mystery through a time of reflective meditation.

Eastertide gives way to the celebration of Pentecost! Pastor Jule gives a background of the Christian celebration of Pentecost, then guides a centering time for participants to attend to the fiery passion within. She reminds of the importance of attending to our inner passion as where such passion intersects with what calls to us of the world’s deepest needs, there we thus know our soul’s purpose.

As Eastertide continues, the little town in the Camargue of Southern France undergoes joyous celebrations in honor of the saints of Saintes-Maries de-la-Mer.
