The Season of Advent begins! Coming off the weekend of Thanksgiving 2025, the nation turns to what has come to be known as Giving Tuesday. In this episode, Pastor Jule shares about the ministry of the Hillwood Food Pantry which weekly delivers food to local school families through Hillwood Presbyterian Church’s community partnerships with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle TN and H.G. Hill Middle School. Reminding that the Hillwood Food Pantry is one way to give faithfully on Giving Tuesday, Pastor Jule guides a centering pause to listen for how intentionally to give.

As the final Sunday of the liturgical year takes place, Pastor Jule re-tells the entire cyclical story of the liturgical year and tells of the celebration of what is called the Reign of Christ. She explains how we can approach the Reign of Christ Sunday as a day to consider how the energy of Love is Sovereign – or Supreme not only in our lives but in the life of the world.
