Jesus calls a tax collector named Levi to follow Him. Levi did not hesitate but left everything behind to follow the Lord. But he did not keep this changed life to himself. Instead, he gave a big reception for Jesus in His home and invited others to come. Jesus boldly declares that He came to call sinners to repentance and not the righteous. We know there are none righteous, but He was addressing the Pharisees, who were critical of His eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners.
