    Join us as host, Sandy Roberts, shares news and events from the Warren County Library System. In this episode, we’re talking about ways to hack your life to get through the often busy and stressful holiday season. Then we'll learn about a whole different type of hacking -- computer hacking!

    We kick off the podcast with bestselling author and expert organizer Jamie Novak. She’ll share great ways to organize the holidays -- and your life -- so that you can spend more time with those you love. Then we’ll talk with Karen Tibbals, author of Persuade Don't Preach: Restoring Civility Across the Political Divide. With her research-based approach, anyone can bridge the divide and talk about difficult topics while being both respectful and honest. We’ll wrap up with BiaSciLab, a young hacker on a mission to encourage other girls and boys to learn computer programming so they can change the world. She’s going to be Keynote Speaker at the library’s Virtual Hackathon on December 12.

    Welcome to More Than Books!

    Join us as host, Sandy Roberts, shares news and events from the Warren County Library System. In this episode, we're thankful for our beautiful natural areas, local businesses, and American history. This episode may have been a bit delayed due to technical difficulties, but it is packed with great interviews.

    Our guests for today are fantastic storytellers. We start with Len Rue Jr, a well-known, local naturalist and photographer. He shares his adventures traveling all over the world, gives great tips on exploring the Delaware Water Gap, and talks about the importance of the Lenni Lenape in our area. Then we feature Dave Andersen of Buttzville Brewing Company. He and his wife, Erin, are hosting an exciting virtual beer tasting with Invertase Brewing Company in Phillipsburg, NJ. Lastly, we have Kevin Wood, an Abraham Lincoln impersonator and historian. He'll be presenting an interesting talk on Lincoln and Thanksgiving where you'll learn how this holiday became nationally recognized.
