About this listen

Welcome to More Than Books!

Join us as host, Sandy Roberts, shares news and events from the Warren County Library System. In this episode, we're thankful for our beautiful natural areas, local businesses, and American history. This episode may have been a bit delayed due to technical difficulties, but it is packed with great interviews.

Our guests for today are fantastic storytellers. We start with Len Rue Jr, a well-known, local naturalist and photographer. He shares his adventures traveling all over the world, gives great tips on exploring the Delaware Water Gap, and talks about the importance of the Lenni Lenape in our area. Then we feature Dave Andersen of Buttzville Brewing Company. He and his wife, Erin, are hosting an exciting virtual beer tasting with Invertase Brewing Company in Phillipsburg, NJ. Lastly, we have Kevin Wood, an Abraham Lincoln impersonator and historian. He'll be presenting an interesting talk on Lincoln and Thanksgiving where you'll learn how this holiday became nationally recognized.
