Celebrating 18 years as a nationally recognized Community Health Center this August, offering a full spectrum of care for the entire family. Covenant director Joslyn Pettway joins Michigan Voices. The Roncelli Construction Company and the Roncelli Family Foundation (RFF) hosted its third Annual “Bourbon & Bags” fundraiser. Approximately 375 attendees and event sponsors helped to raise $100,000 for four local non-profit partners, including: Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, Detroit Zoological Society, The Parade Co., and YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit. Third-generation owner Gino Roncelli joins Michigan Voices to talk about his company's robust commitment to community service.

She is the author of "Caregiver Tsunami: Finding Strength, Humor, and Humanity in the Storm of Caregiving." Manresa Jesuit Retreat House held its first retreat on the weekend of Sept. 23-26, 1926. This year, on Sept. 28, Manresa begins a year-long celebration called “Sacred Encounters: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” to mark 100 years of helping men and women grow spiritually through prayer, reflection, guidance, and teaching according to the Ignatian tradition. Manresa director Sr. Linda Sevcik joins Michigan Voices.

    Aug. 11, 2025 ~ Since 1985, Angela Hospice has been providing a service to the community of southeast Michigan, sparked by one woman’s vision and determination. Angela Hospice was founded under the sponsorship of the Felician Sisters, with Sister Mary Giovanni spending 11 years researching advanced pain control and the hospice model of care before opening Angela Hospice in a small office at Madonna University. Jennifer Dale, Director of Strategic Partnerships, joins Michigan Voices. The Yunion, a leading Detroit-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through education and creative expression, is inviting students ages 11 to 13 with a passion for music and performing arts to apply for the Keys 2 Life Performing Arts Summer Camp. Kourtney Neloms, Interim COO at the Yunion, joins Michigan Voices.
