    Make It Plain (MIP) is an independent media platform, the editorial wing of Harambee Organisation of Black Unity (HOBU), and a go-to-hub for Black radical politics.

    Kehinde Andrews is a professor at Birmingham City University (BCU), where he co-led the establishment of the first and at present only Black Studies BA + MA program in Europe; the chair of the Harambee Organisation of Black Unity, and editor-in-chief of Make it Plain. He is also the author of "Back to Black: Retelling Black Radicalism for the 21st Century" (2018), its prequel "The New Age of Empire: How Racism and Colonialism Still Rule the World" (2021), and his latest "The Psychosis of Whiteness: Surviving the Insanity of a Racist World" out in Sept 2023.

    Kimberlé Crenshaw is an American Civil Rights Advocate, the co-founder and executive director of the African American Policy Forum, and the founder and executive director of the Center for Intersectionality and Social Policy Studies at Columbia Law School. She is the Promise Institute Professor at UCLA Law School and the Isidor and Seville Sulzbacher Professor at Columbia Law School. She is popularly known for her development of “intersectionality,” “Critical Race Theory,” and the #SayHerName Campaign, and is the host of the podcast Intersectionality Matters!
