The Tennessee Titans edge rusher group is one of the worst in the NFL, but that doesn't mean it lacks intrigue for Titans fans. Second-round pick Femi Oladejo remains unsigned and that should not be a worry to fans, but how Femi is able to explode on to the scene and off the line of scrimmage should. If Oladejo does make a quick impression, a veteran like Lorenzo Carter could be somewhat of a surprise cut. Finally, the Titans could choose to grab a veteran on the free agent market and there are some popular names like Z'Darius Smith and Jadeveon Clowney still available.

The Tennessee Titans wide receiver group may not be the most talented on paper, but there are not many spots to go around when you start to add things up. However, rookie undrafted free agent Xavier Restrepo is a LOCK to make this team for multiple reasons regardless of the numbers. On the opposite side of the spectrum, former first-rounder Treylon Burks is on his last legs and last chance with the team. There is a higher likelihood that Burks is cut than him making an impact in 2025. Finally, there are some familiar names who will be showed the door this offseason and there is not much they can do about it.

The Tennessee Titans offensive line will look massively different in Week 1 of 2025 than it did in Week 1 of 2024 and that should be fantastic news for the team and fans everywhere. After another disaster campaign for the unit last season, drastic improvement is not only needed, but is expected. With the money spent on veteran free agents and the investment in the draft, there is no excuse for the Titans to not have an offensive front that is in the top half of the NFL. To do that, they will also need better depth and the roster bubble for the O-Line does present some solid options to accomplish that. Finally, there are a few names who have hung around for a while like a John Ojukwu and Andrew Rupcich who probably need to be phased out at this point.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Gunnar Helm in the fourth round out of Texas and he could come in right away and get the most snaps at tight end in his first season. That doesn't mean that Chig Okonkwo won't also be a major factor at the position, but who takes the starting tight end spot will ultimately come down to how Brian Callahan chooses to deploy the role. Josh Whyle has now become an afterthought and that leaves him on the roster bubble with hungrier guys behind him like David Martin-Robinson and Thomas Odukoya. Finally, Tony Pollard is the clear top running back for the Titans, but after a great 2024 campaign, Pollard deserves a little more love locally and nationally.

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward held a summer camp with some teammates down at the University of Miami over the last few days. This is exactly the type of stuff you want to see from the young passer and seeing veteran players like Calvin Ridley and Chig Okonkwo attend bodes well for the respect Ward commands already as the team's leader. After losing that spot, Will Levis is on the bubble to make the team. Not because he isn't clearly the second-best quarterback, but because a trade to a new team would benefit Levis and the Titans. There are a few good landing spots available. Finally, the Titans will need a much better special teams unit in 2025 and the trio of Joey Slye, Johnny Hekker and Morgan Cox will have to lead them there.

The Tennessee Titans have been a team historically led by the run game and defense, so it is no surprise the defense talent is robust. Especially on the defensive line where there is only room for one of Jeffery Simmons and Jurrell Casey and while Simmons has the edge, his lead is slowly fading as the years go by. At linebacker, Keith Bulluck will always have the top spot, but Harold Landry should be next in line. Finally, in the secondary, things are pretty clear cut and Kevin Byard being the best defensive back in team history is also pretty clear.

The Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee in 1997 before becoming the Titans officially in 1999 and since that time we have seen countless dazzling players on the offensive side of the ball. Certainly there have been more at some spots than others but regardless, the talent that has been on display makes crafting an ALL TIME OFFENSE a difficult task. Quarterback is not a difficult spot though as Steve McNair is the clear winner, although Ryan Tannehill remains underrated. Running back is a challenge though with three legends, Eddie George, Chris Johnson and Derrick Henry all battling, but Henry is the king that deserves the crown. It may sting, but AJ Brown deserves his place at wide receiver while Delanie Walker, despite the fantastic career of Frank Wycheck, gets the tight end spot. Finally, the offensive line is a tough lineup to set as the Titans have seemed to always have some great linemen, even if that hasn't been the case as of late.

The Tennessee Titans have a lot of reasons for optimism going into 2025, but tops on the list is Cam Ward. Ward can immediately change this franchise overnight if he hits. The offensive line improvement should also give fans hope as the additions in recent years could result in a great unit. However, there are reasons for concern as well. The pass rush group will have a limited ceiling and need a miracle to be great while the rookie weapons on offense could disappoint.
