• 4PM: Giannis Open to Leaving Milwaukee, Packers vs Bears Schedule Announcement, & Dreamy Eyes on YouTube!
    May 12 2025
Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown are back for an abbreviated version of the show ahead of Brewers baseball taking over the airwaves at 4:30... They start the show reacting to the news from ESPN's Shams Charania reporting that, for the first time in his career, Giannis is "open-minded" about joining a team other than the Bucks... They discuss which potential trade partners who would fit both the Bucks' and Giannis' needs and how tonight's NBA Draft Lottery figures in for the assets of teams like the Spurs and Rockets, and they ask today's Siding Unlimited poll question: Do you think this is the beginning of the end for Giannis and Milwaukee? They also stop to react to the first bit of Packers 2025 schedule news announced midway through today's show... Would you want the Packers to play on Christmas? Jim then addresses the Bucks fans who are in denial who are rejecting Shams' reporting, and the show jumps over to a YouTube-exclusive edition for the final 30 minutes! They continue talking about the unique timing of the news, best-case scenarios & fits for the Bucks and Giannis, and what happens if Giannis goes nuclear and says there's only ONE team he wants to be traded to...

  • 4PM: Buying into Mother Day + Feelin' No. 22, Matthew Golden
    May 9 2025
Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown hold it down for this Phish Friday leading into Mother's Day. Before diving into the ethics of mother-in-laws on Mother's Day, they finally address the elephant in the room around rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden: his number, 22. Does Golden need a Taylor Swift touchdown song or are their better songs that fit the vibe of Lambeau Field (Gold on the Ceiling, Ecstasy of Gold, etc)? With Mother's Day coming up, Jim asks an uncomfortable Siding Unlimited poll question: Do you go out of you way to wish your mother-in-law a happy Mother’s Day? Also, which members of the show are the biggest hugger and why does Jim go out of his way to avoid hugging his relatives? As they wait for Jason Wilde (who gets stuck at a cluster**** of a golf tournament), Jim broaches a question about where the Packers' assistant coaching staff ranks among the NFC North after Detroit's brain drain and Chicago's headliner offseasons... They wrap up Hour 1 with Molly's Game, diving into some of the betting lines for this weekend's NBA playoff action!

  • 5PM: What the Hell, Deb?!?!
    May 9 2025
Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown are running TIGHT on the clock ahead of the Brewers' series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays. Jim shares a short story of when he reamed out a coworker while working down at ESPN West Palm, but it was the wrong Deb... They revisit today's Siding Unlimited poll question: Do you go out of you way to wish your mother-in-law a happy Mother’s Day? They finish out the show with Poll Dancing, as producer Primetime sticks to the theme of today's show with a question about the ethics of buying gifts for the mother of your children.

  • Evan Cohen on JM&M
    May 8 2025
Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike joins for his bi-weekly appearance on Jim, Matt & Molly. They discuss some comments from ESPN's Mina Kimes regarding the Packers' receiving corps after drafting first-round rookie Matthew Golden and if they addressed the needs that kept them from making a deep playoff run last year... Is it fair for to say the Packers just have an "army of two's" and, if so, can they still win a Super Bowl that way? But, is it more about the Packers' receivers or the one throwing them the ball: Jordan Love? They also discuss Aaron Rodgers' perhaps, maybe, kinda showing off a potential wedding ring at the Kentucky Derby as well as a Chicago native being elected as Pope Leo XIV today. Is it now a sin to say "the Bears still suck" and do we understand what a "conclave" even is?

  • 4PM: The Packers' Army of Two's + Is "Bears Still Suck" now a Sin?
    May 8 2025
Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown are all back together in-studio now that Matt's back from another illustrious curling photoshoot in Minnesota. Jim serves Matt his favorite conversation now that he's back: a Chicago sports fan becoming the new Pope with Leo XIV's election today. Is it now a sing to say "the Bears still suck?" They move the conversation to the Packers and the receiving room, as they react to what Mina Kimes had to say about the state of the Packers' roster post-draft and if they've addressed the needs that kept them from making a deep playoff run last season. They focus the conversation about the expectations for historic first-round rookie Matthew Golden and if he'll just add to the Packers' "army of two's" in the wide receiver room... Today's first Siding Unlimited poll question: Did the Packers address all of their needs this offseason? Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike joins for his bi-weekly appearance on Jim, Matt & Molly. They discuss some comments from ESPN's Mina Kimes regarding the Packers' receiving corps after drafting first-round rookie Matthew Golden and if they addressed the needs that kept them from making a deep playoff run last year... • 5PM: Can Matthew Golden Shine in Year 1 + Jordan Love Expectations for Year 3
    May 8 2025
Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown roll into Hour 2 of their conversation about the state of the Packers wide receiver room and across the board after the changes this offseason. They extend the conversation from Matthew Golden's potential in Year 1 to narrow in on who will finish atop the receiving corps as a whole. Also, ESPN's Mina Kimes said she is still giving Jordan Love the benefit of the doubt, but where should we draw the line of expectations for his floor versus his ceiling heading into Year 3 as a starter? During Throwing Stones, Jim addresses one of his biggest haters on the Carbliss talk/text line who asks if Golden will have a better rookie season than Rome Odunze did with the Bears last year. Mark Tauscher joins to wrap up today's show to discuss Badgers football and the pessimism circling the program this offseason. Jim shares the brighter side with an anecdote about one of Jeff Grimes' first messages the new offensive coordinator before Matt brings it back down with the Vegas' over/under wins projection of 5.5... Can Luke Fickell bounce back after two extremely underwhelming first seasons? Tausch answers one Packers question before he leaves, reacting to ESPN's Mina Kimes saying that she doesn't believe first-round rookie Matthew Golden will be able to step in and be a No. 1 WR for Green Bay.

  • 4PM: Open the Roof, Brewers!
    May 7 2025
Jim Rutledge & Molly Brown hold it down for the final day while Matt Hamilton is away. They open the show reacting to the Brewers coming up short of the sweep against the Houston Astros, losing 9-1 while the roof was CLOSED at Am Fam Field this afternoon... The comfort of the closed-roof stadium is palpable, but the Brewers ever close their roof on a bright, spring day when we pride ourselves in playing in the Frozen Tundra as Packers fans?!?! Today's first Siding Unlimited poll question: Should the Brewers ever close the roof at Am Fam Field if it’s below 45 degrees? Jim also relives the "rube" behavior of playing the theme song of 2001: A Space Odyssey whenever the Brewers closed to roof when it was new back in '01... What are the dumbest pop culture behaviors of the late 90s, early 2000s in the USA? They move into the biggest NFL news of the idea that involves, guess who, Aaron Rodgers... There's more smoke about Rodgers eventually signing with the Steelers after they traded WR George Pickens to the Cowboys today, and funny enough, Pittsburgh is starting to feel more and more like Green Bay... Jim asks today's second Siding Unlimited poll question: Which team is the #Packers’ AFC doppelgänger over the last 30 years -- the Broncos, Colts or Steelers? In this week's Minute to Win It, Jim and producer Primetime test how close Molly was listening with the 10 NFL teams with the highest winning percentage over the last 30 years!

  • 5PM: Romeo Doubs & Rodgers Reunion in Pittsburgh?
    May 7 2025
Jim Rutledge & Molly Brown move on from their "nonsense" poll questions about baseball stadium roofs to talk some real ball and theoretical trades for the Green Bay Packers. There's continued smoke around the likelihood of Aaron Rodgers signing with the Steelers after they traded WR George Pickens to the Steelers today, leading many to throw out the idea of sending Romeo Doubs to re-unite with Rodgers in Pittsburgh... They listen back to some of Rodgers' comments about Doubs during his 2022 rookie season, including their lack of an off-field relationship and his surprising on-field chemistry and trustworthiness... What could the Packers get in a theoretical trade for Doubs to the Steelers? They fall down a small rabbit hole of Canadian football players, including Chase Claypool and newly-signed Packers QB Taylor Elgersma. During Throwing Stones, Molly tosses some rocks at the loud weed whackers in her neighborhood this morning... Jim & Molly wrap the show with their thoughts on the Pacers tearing the heart out of the Cavs in Game 2 of their second-round series last night: how long can Tyrese Haliburton keep getting away with this???
