Why add to the chatter?

I think a healthy question is to ask why add to the noise in the podcasting space. Ultimately, I see there being 3 people who could benefit from it (in order)

1. Myself - I love the act of reflecting and unpacking the day, and I want to have live documentation of the journey of us growing and growing our business instead of the events unfolding to be footnotes in a story that is reflected on in years to come.

2. My Kids and Family - When I play our journey forward, it seems as though we are going to be in quite a wealthy position in the future, and I would like to have a catalogue of what it is like to be growing business with a young family so that our kids can see what it is really like.

3. The Broader Community - I binged Start Up Podcast when we were at the beginning of our business Journey, and it was so insightful to see things unfolding in real-time instead of retrospectively. I trust that as we grow, others will be able to benefit from our story.

    • Bec coming to feed Sterling and telling me about her time with Lexi
    • Sterling on the mat playing with the dangley things
    • Tilly asking me “why” when we told her to get out of the bathroom, I reacted and then realised that she was doing the right thing.
      • Explaining to Jacob that we teach the girls to ask why and that they are the boss of themselves.
    • Jacob hanging out with the kids outside
    • Reading How to Make a Few Billion dollars:
      • The necessity of humility What memory can I maintain to keep me humble?
    • Walk with the kids with the reflectors
    • Talkin with Tilly about being scared to go to school
      • Being scared to say anything about her teachers

    • Tram was overbooked, so came home to get a scooter, but were all gone, so went and bought Eliza a scooter and went for a ride with Bec
