The big news of the day (Recorded Before Official Bengals Release) was that former first-round draft pick Noah Fant was getting ready to sign a contract to wear stripes and give Joe Burrow another major weapon.

Lap talks about the former Iowa tight end and what he brings to the field as well as what happened during practice as the Bengals were forced inside the bubble due to the weather. Also discussed was how Joe Burrow continues to have the best training camp of his career, the defense fully understanding what new defensive coordinator Al Golden wants, and Lapham's time being able to question and learn from NFL on-field officials.

The Cincinnati Bengals have finished their sixth training camp practice as they continue work towards the 2025 NFL season. In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, was on hand for all the action and discusses the return of star defensive end Trey Hendrickson to the active roster, which required the Bengals to release running back Zack Moss, and the move of bringing undrafted free agent center Seth McLaughlin to the active roster after he'd been placed on the Active Non-Football injury list before the start of training camp.

Lapham and Dave Berk also discuss the latest Joe Burrow news as the star quarterback held a press conference after practice on Wednesday.
