• Episode 4- My First Milestones with Baby Hanna
    Dec 10 2025

Miscarriages & Milestones Podcast. Today’s episode is the most personal one I’ve ever shared. I’m telling my story. Hanna’s story. The journey I walked with her through loss.

For years, I’ve spoken at events for lossmothers, healthcare providers, and students… but always in pieces. In this episode I share the most complete retelling I’ve ever given, including parts I’ve never spoken about until now.

This is my experience of a silent second-trimester miscarriage, often called a missed miscarriage, of my daughter Hanna. It’s a story that includes midwifery care, a planned home birth, unexpected emergency room visits, and the surgery that ultimately saved my life.

    Milestones I Share:
♡ Pregnancy as a first time mom
♡ The Silent loss and birth of my baby in the second trimester
♡ Preparing for and laboring baby’s arrival at home
♡ Honoring her short life with photos and a tender burial
♡ Navigating postpartum recovery without a living baby
♡ How grief reshaped friendships, support systems, and relationships
♡ Facing unexpected and painful reminders in the world
♡ Channeling loss into writing, hands-on projects, and creative expression

Thank you for letting me share Hanna’s story. Thank you for honoring her with your presence. For letting Hanna’smemory live alongside your own.

  • Episode 3- Carmen's Milestones With Thorin & Jayne
    Nov 25 2025

Miscarriages & Milestones Podcast. In this episode, I sit down with Carmen, a mother of five earth babies and two angel babies, and founder of CALM Health Physiotherapy for a conversation on life after the loss of two precious babies.

With bittersweet honesty, Carmen shares the stories of her son Thorin (a second-trimester silent loss) and her daughter Jayne (a first-trimester loss), reflecting on the life-changing impact they had on her as a person, a parent, and ultimately on her faith. She speaks to the way loss reshaped her understanding of grief, how it strengthened her family, and guided her back to God in a deeply personal way.

Carmen also reflects on the emotional aftermath of pregnancy loss. The grief that can feel isolating, the healing that becomes possible when women are truly supported, and the societal and medical gaps that often leave mothers navigating this pain alone. After discovering her own mother’s hidden loss, she also explores the generational silence surrounding miscarriage and the powerful healing that comes from informed post partum care.

As the founder of CALM Health Physiotherapy, Carmen sheds light on the often overlooked layers of postpartum wellness, emphasizing the need for trauma-informed, whole-body support for women in every chapter of motherhood, including loss.

  • Episode 2- A Rainbow Baby Welcoming Party
    Nov 9 2025

In pregnancy after loss, that need to celebrate can feel complicated. In this episode, I share how my family redefined celebration through a Sip & See — a quiet, post-birth gathering that offered space for both healing and gratitude.

Together, we can reflect on the emotions pregnancy after loss stirs within us, and the courage it takes to hope again. How a baby-welcoming became can bridge the experiences of the baby you now hold in your arms, with the baby you hold in your heart.

Whether you are walking through pregnancy after loss or supporting someone who is, this episode offers gentle perspective, compassion, and permission to celebrate on your own terms.

    Milestones Explored:

    • Navigating pregnancy after loss
    • Parenting after loss
    • Balancing celebrating your rainbow and angel baby
