In this week's episode, we chat with Don Spafford, who started his career in the finance sector. With a background in education, finance and security investing, Don pursued a career as a financial advisor. After the 2008 market crash, Don found himself without a job, but he and his wife, a realtor, saw an opportunity in the crashing housing market. In 2017, they made their first investment which they found off of Craigslist, a fourplex, and went on to invest in commercial real estate. 

Fast-forward to 2021, and Don is now a partner in Happy Camper Capital, a company that does RV resorts syndication, and on top of that, a build-to-rent multifamily group that is currently developing over 600 apartment units.
