About this listen

Her Y, hosted by Lauren McClain, focuses solely on the women who have played and coached the BYU sports we love to watch. We will celebrate their triumphs in the field of play and dig deep to discuss the setbacks in their athletic careers and everyday lives. The stories they tell will inspire and enlighten sports fans and non-sports fans alike. It’s time these Cougars get the attention they deserve.© 2026 BYU Broadcasting Politics & Government Social Sciences

  • Paje Rasmussen Brady: Breaking Records, Closing Gaps
    Apr 15 2026
Paje Rasmussen Brady never planned on being a sprinter. A soccer player at heart, two torn ACLs shifted her path toward track — and after a mission, a walk-on spot at BYU, and being cut due to NCAA roster limits, she came back with something to prove. This season, she broke the BYU school record in the 200-meter dash, helped set another in the 4x400 relay, and medaled in three events at the Big 12 Indoor Championships. In this episode, Paige opens up about the injuries, the uncertainty, the faith, and the belief that carried her to places even she didn't expect.
