• SUNDAY SERMON | John 21:20-23 “No More Excuses- Following Jesus Fully”
    Sep 8 2025

Title: “No More Excuses – Following Jesus Fully”

    Scripture: John 21:20-23 | Exodus 3-4

In this week’s message, we continue in John 21:20-23 as we explore the excuses that often keep us from fully following God. Just as Peter wrestled with comparison and distraction, we also look back to Exodus 3 and 4 where Moses offered his own reasons for why he couldn’t obey God’s calling.

This message challenges us to lay aside our excuses and trust God’s plan — even when we feel unqualified, insecure, or overwhelmed. We concluded the service by partaking in the Lord’s Supper, remembering the sacrifice of Christ and recommitting ourselves to follow Him wholeheartedly.

Listen now and be encouraged to walk faithfully where God is calling you.

  • MIDWEEK LESSON | 1 Peter 1:20-21- Jesus is raised so our faith will be in God alone
    Sep 4 2025

In this midweek teaching from Harvey Road Baptist Church, Colton Arbuckle walks through 1 Peter 1:20-21, unpacking the incredible truth that Jesus was raised from the dead so that our faith and hope might rest in God alone. This lesson dives deep into the power of Christ’s resurrection, the certainty of our salvation, and why our confidence can’t be placed in ourselves, our works, or the world—but in God who saves.

If you’ve ever struggled with doubt or misplaced trust, this message will encourage and challenge you to anchor your faith where it belongs: fully in Him.

📖 “He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you, who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.” — 1 Peter 1:20-21
