Mark’s 40th celebrations go international as we recap the Barcelona Bonanza from start to finish. Think airport “responsible” drinks, Dublin lounge dramas (book in advance, babes), and Siobhán somehow forgetting her suitcase the minute we land.

We check into the Social Hub (cheap, gorgeous, STEAMERS in the rooms) before hopping into a tacky-stunning Hummer limo with DJ Paul on the decks. Then it’s Gatsby Barcelona: fancy dress code, non-stop mini Broadway numbers, and bottles of Albariño flying.

Day two brings beach lunch at Julieta’s, “human-sized” seagulls, private tapas at Sensi (octopus PTSD included), and the greatest karaoke bar on earth… with one iconic lyrical disaster. Buckle up its a good one!

Mark’s 40th birthday is officially underway… and the chaos is immediate. Penny’s on the (forbidden) wet food, everyone’s had “responsible” champagne (define that how you like), and Lisa and Kyra have been smuggled into the house for a surprise that spirals fast.

We attempt “40 things we love about Mark” and barely make a dent, expect hair lore, pink suits, loyalty-to-the-end (yes, hiding bodies is mentioned), gunkle chat, and the iconic two-day-in-bed Christmas tradition.

Then it’s Glow Up or Blow Up: Eurovision gets dragged, drinks get ranked (Amo Ball, Sambuca on ice, red wine trauma), Benefit nostalgia gets real, travel hot takes fly, and we finish with what we’re wearing & watching. Absolute Champagne fueled mayhem.
