    Speaking of cocktails, today Matthew is drinking a Snoopy while Ben is drinking a Rattlesnake. Recipes below.

    Cocktail
    • 3/4 oz Bourbon
    • 3/4 oz Grand Marnier
    • 1/2 oz Galiano
    • 1/2 oz Aperol Campari
    • 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
    • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel.

    Cocktail
    • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
    • 3/4 oz - 1 oz Lemon juice
    • 3/4 oz - 1 oz Simple syrup
    • 1 egg white
    • 1/2 tsp Absinthe for rinse
    • Add the absinthe to a chilled coupe or martini glass. Add the remaining ingredients except the absinthe to a shaker with no ice. Shake for 15-20 seconds to emulsify the egg white. Open the shaker and add ice and shake again until well chilled. Swirl the absinthe around your prepared glass and dump any excess. Double strain the shaker contents into the glass.

    Algonquin Sour
    • 2 oz Rye whiskey
    • 1 oz Dry vermouth
    • 1 oz Pineapple juice
    • Pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry for garnish
    • Combine the whiskey, vermouth and pineapple juice in a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled and double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with the pineapple wedge and cherry on a cocktail pick.

    Giant Passion Rum Punch
    • 1 oz Appleton Estate Signature (funky base)
    • 1 oz Planteray 3 Stars (bright and dry backbone)
    • 0.75 oz Passion fruit syrup
    • 0.5 oz Falernum
    • 0.5 oz Dry Curaçao
    • 0.75 oz Lime juice
    • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
    • 1/4 oz High Proof Rum for float (optional)
    • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a Collin’s glass (or Tiki Mug!) with crushed ice. Float high proof rum off the back of a bar spoon, if using. Garnish with mint and a spent lime half.

    • 3/4 oz Absinthe
    • 3/4 oz Averna
    • One dropper of saline solution (4:1 water to salt)
    • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
    • Lemon Twist for garnish
    • Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds until well-chilled and diluted. Strain into a rocks glass with a large chunk of ice. Express lemon oils over drink and discard the peel like your hopes for the Giants.

    Garden of Despair
    • 1/2 oz Strawberry infused vodka
    • 3/4 oz Icelandic pink gin
    • 3/4 oz Agricole rum
    • 3/4 oz Lemon juice
    • 3/4 oz Elderflower simple syrup
    • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with edible but bitter flowers.

    Southside
    • 2 oz Gin
    • 1 oz Lemon Juice
    • 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
    • 5 mint leaves
    • Muddle mint and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add the gin, lemon juice, and ice. Shake until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a mint sprig.

    Strawberry Vaquiri
    • 1 oz Strawberry infused vodka
    • 1 oz Rum
    • 1 oz Lime juice
    • 1 oz Simple syrup
    • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with fresh or candied strawberries.

    • Combine rums, ginger liqueur, and cherry bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir to desired dilution. Strain into a rocks with a large chunk ice. Cry quietly while drinking.

    Pineapple Banana Split
    • 1.5 oz Flor de Cana 12-year Rum
    • 1/4 oz Banana Liqueur
    • 1/2 oz Pineapple Syrup
    • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
    • 1 Dash Chocolate Bitters
    • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-12 seconds. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a banana slice or chocolate shavings.

    Sh*t From My Bar
    • 1 -3 novelty travel bottles of liquor you received as a gift or bought as a gag
    • 1-3 flavored sodas (like coke or Jolt or something
    • Your dignity for garnish
    • Open one or more of the travel bottles of liquor. Open one or move the sodas. Combine in glass with ice. Remove your dignity. Drink. Don’t lie if you like it. (You won't like it, but you'll drink it anyway.)

    Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking Strawberry Fields Forever while Matthew is drinking a Brown Derby. Recipes below.

    Strawberry Fields Forever
    • 2 oz Strawberry Infused Vodka
    • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
    • 3-4 oz Club Soda
    • 1 Strawberry for Garnish
    • To make the strawberry infused vodka, take a large heap of strawberry tops (leaves and all) or whole strawberries and add to 12 oz of vodka and allow to infuse overnight. Then add vodka and simple syrup to a highball glass with ice. Top with club soda and garnish with strawberry.

    Brown Derby
    • 2 oz high-rye bourbon (like Old Forester, Four Roses Single Barrel, or Woodford Reserve)
    • 1 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice
    • ¾ oz rich honey syrup (2:1 honey to water)
    • 1 dash orange bitters (optional, but highly recommended)
    • Grapefruit twist or expressed oils for garnish
    • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 12–15 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled coupe. Express a grapefruit twist over the top and drop it in.
