In this episode, we begin the book of Ezekiel by reading chapters 1 through 4, where God reveals His glory in a powerful and awe-inspiring vision. Ezekiel is called as a prophet to a rebellious people, receiving a message that is both difficult and necessary.

Through vivid imagery and symbolic actions, God shows His holiness, sovereignty, and unwavering authority — even in exile. These chapters remind us that God’s presence is not confined to a place, and that His voice continues to call His people to repentance, obedience, and faithfulness wherever they may be.

In this episode, we read Lamentations chapters 3 through 5, where sorrow gives way to hope, and deep suffering is met with steadfast faith. In the midst of anguish, the writer proclaims one of Scripture’s most powerful truths: “Great is Your faithfulness.” Even in devastation, God’s mercy is renewed day by day.

These closing chapters move from personal lament to communal prayer, calling God’s people to reflect, repent, and cry out for restoration. Lamentations 3–5 reminds us that even in our darkest moments, God remains compassionate, faithful, and worthy of our trust.

In this episode, we read Lamentations chapters 1 and 2, entering into a raw and heartfelt expression of grief over the fall of Jerusalem. These chapters capture the deep sorrow, isolation, and devastation experienced by God’s people as they come face to face with the consequences of sin and judgment.
