  • Tip 39: Avoiding Conflict Doesn’t Bring Peace...It Brings Pressure.
    Sep 9 2025

    Send us a text

Conflict creates one of the greatest sources of anxiety in our lives. Many of us believe that avoiding conflict will bring peace...but in reality it only creates more pressure, more worry, and more chaos.

In this episode, I share how to approach conflict from a biblical perspective—starting with Matthew 18 and the call to go directly to the person. We’ll talk about timing, tone, and posture...how to look at the plank in your own eye first...and why humility always goes first.

I’ll also explain how to handle conflict differently when it’s Christian to Christian compared to when it’s Christian to non-Christian, and how to set healthy boundaries when needed.

True intimacy is not the absence of conflict. It is working through conflict prayerfully and humbly and coming out stronger on the other side.

Fearless Tips and Talks is back unpolished and unproduced...raw, real, and prayerful. I may not have the budget for production this season, but I believe the content matters more than the polish. So I’m showing up with truth and tools to help you find peace and freedom in your everyday life.

  • Talk 62: Learning the Humble Way of a True Disciple
    Sep 2 2025

What happens when God takes away the very things we use to define ourselves—Less of Me, More of Him – Learning the Humble Way of a True Disciple

What happens when God takes away the very things we use to define ourselves—our titles, our roles, our control?

In this message, Alisha shares one of the hardest yet most transformative seasons of her life, including the humbling reality of jail, and how God used it to teach her what true discipleship looks like.

Humility isn’t weakness—it’s shifting from self-reliance to God-dependence. It’s letting go of performance-based faith and embracing the freedom of presence-based faith. It’s learning to trust that where our strength ends, His strength begins.

Together we’ll look at three powerful truths:

    1. Humility Starts with Recognizing Our Need (Matthew 5:3)
    2. Humility Frees Us from the Pressure to Perform (Micah 6:8)
    3. Humility Makes Us Teachable and Transformable (James 4:6)

Key Verse: “He must become greater; I must become less.” – John 3:30

If you’ve ever felt crushed under the weight of shame, exhausted from striving, or afraid to admit your need for God—this message is for you.

Watch until the end for a prayer of surrender, asking God to shape us into disciples who live with open hands, humble hearts, and a deep dependence on Him.

  • Tip 38: Fear of Fear
    Aug 26 2025

    Send us a text

Anxiety is hard enough—but what about the fear of anxiety itself? So many of us live in dread of when fear might rise up again, and that cycle keeps us stuck. In today’s episode, I’m sharing a prayerful and practical approach to breaking free from the fear of fear.

Together, we’ll reflect on 2 Timothy 1:7, and I’ll guide you through simple ways to invite God’s peace into anxious moments: prayer, meditating on Scripture, journaling, and even going for a walk to notice His creation.

Remember: fear is a signal, not a sentence. God has given you a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind—and you don’t have to fight fear alone.

    📖 Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7
🙏 Practices: prayer, journaling, Scripture meditation, noticing God’s creation
