In this episode, Paul kicks of the High School Humanities Essential Texts Series with Homer's great work, The Odyssey. Paul jumps right in to book one, reading and adding commentary as he goes. Grab your copy of the Robert Fitzgerald translation, 1961. You will need it for reading along and for taking notes. I know, I know: Emily Wilson 2018. It's a great translation. Really, I like it enormously. But for this series, I plan to stick with Fitzgerald.
