From being a rookie pick out of Temora to becoming a cornerstone of Hawthorn’s historic 2013-2015 three-peat, he shares what made that group so special, the mindset behind their sustained dominance, and what it was really like inside that powerhouse forward line with Cyril Rioli, Jarryd Roughead, and Jack Gunston. We also chat about his recent retirement, the knee injury that brought an early end to his playing days, and how he’s approaching life after footy. We chat family, golf, and his next exciting chapter as development coach at Richmond. It’s an honest, nostalgic and insightful chat with a bloke who quietly built one of the best small forward careers we’ve ever seen.
