About this listen

On 8 March 2014, a Boeing 777 travelling from Malaysia to Beijing with 239 people onboard disappeared. Despite the most expensive and expansive search in human history, it has never been found.

Was it one of the largest ever acts of mass murder, a hijacking that went wrong, or was it something less sinister like technical failure? Aviation experts have no answers. Politicians have no easy solutions. Families have no bodies to bury.

This Audible Original podcast is co-presented by journalist and broadcaster Jana Wendt and Peter Waring a former Australian naval officer who worked on the search. It re-examines the evidence and tells the inside story of those whose lives have been consumed by aviation’s most perplexing mystery.

A brilliant telling of a modern day, real life mystery that permeated so many lives around the world from 2014 to now. Hard to believe it's real. Very generous of everyone who gave their time to contribute. Highly recommend this.

This story of MH370 is fascinating. Peter and Jana created an amazing series which is educational but also such an emotional journey. I am left with so many questions, I feel like I’m forever connected to the story. I now wonder…. In my lifetime will we ever find MH370… Thank you Peter for having the courage to share.

crying right now having just finished it. I don't know anyone related to this but putting myself through this series has made me closer to the tragedy and victims. The mystery remains and I believe the plane is in the trench as well. God has not forgotten the victims, the innocent and the children of mh370 and they will have a chance at life again soon. love to all the families involved ❤️❤️

emotional and still staggering

Exceptional work efforts of finding and piecing the jigsaw puzzles to what happened, there's more possibilities to explore thou. conclusion is somewhat convincing and almost had me convinced, but it's only one part focus to one person. Families deserve answers, not theories.

Thorough but wasn't enough

The level of detail is exceptional with in depth personal accounts of those involved in search efforts, family and other experts.

I would recommend this podcast to anyone with a curious mind.
