  • My gf does not respect my socks
    Oct 29 2025

SOCKWAVES on Beat Breakfast this morning! Niall and Sho got the following this dilemma

"I like nice socks. My grandfather always said "socks maketh the man" and I agree. I buy nice socks, I like them to match, it makes me feel good. I moved in with my girlfriend six weeks ago and she doesn't have the same respect for socks. Certainly not mine.

Firstly, she can't seem to get them through the washing and back to me without one disappearing. A lot of my favourite pairs are no longer pairs because of her carelessness. I can't understand it. It was rare I'd lose a sock when I was doing my own washing.

Secondly, when she lays out my clothes for the next day each night, she'll often leave two odd socks there. Maybe it's because there's so few pairs left, but come on. I can't wear odd socks to work. I have a lot of meetings - imagine if someone looked down and noticed"

Listen back to hear the advice!

  • My new BF squeezed his spot on me
    Oct 28 2025

A girl got in touch with Niall and Sho to say that she has a problem!

"Seeing a lad two months and he’s so good looking that I almost think he’s good looking for me.

Was sitting with the guy the other night and he was chatting away and the next minute he started picking a spot. I was a bit put off but just stared at the TV. He kept going. The next minute he squeezed it and I’m so sorry for this, but he popped it and it squirted onto my knee."

    Is this normal?
