I recently interviewed Robyn Bluemmel about her wonderful book: Native Plant Spirit Wisdom, in which she shares intuitive conversations she’s had with native plants of the Pacific Northwest. Filled with wonder, love, and wisdom, the book is accompanied by a set of cards that offer illustrations of 36 individual native plants, as well as the wisdom they shared with Robyn. An herbalist, gardener, and artist for over 40 years, Robyn was asked by the species she ‘sat with’ to share what they communicated to her – with all of us. It took her 13 years of quiet persistence and commitment to bring this set of cards and book into being: quite remarkable! To learn more about Robyn and her many gifts, visit her website, Bluebug Arts. By the way, Robyn is a former Cully Neighbor; I’ve included her in the series because she is one of those remarkable people who always seems to be making life better for folks in her community and beyond.
