To argue that Christianitiy is true on the basis of fulfilled prophecies is commonplace in apologetics. But are arguments from prophecy good arguments? Are all prophecies created equal? In this talk, Joel Mohrmann proposes four criteria to consider when considering if a Biblical prophecy is a good candidate for a convincing argument from prophecy: the prophecy should be (1) Chronological, (2) Consequential, (3) Comprehendible, and (4) Corroborated. All four of these elements lead to a more persuasive argument from prophecy.

In 1 John 4:8, the Apostle John says that "God is love." However, in this video, Harrison Kerns explores this question: how could God have been love for all eternity past, before anything or anyone else existed, if He had no one else to love? Maybe the Trinity can help us answer this question.

Many people think that atheists have to adopt a type of subjective morality, but increasingly today, many atheists are proposing theories of how morality can still be objective without needing God. In this video, Adam explains the details of these various theories and ultimately how they fall short in giving an adequate explanation for the source and foundation of morality.

Does God exist or not? How can we know? Can Christians and skeptics discuss this issue in a friendly way? In November 2025, a panel discussion was held at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion for an upcoming new book entitled "Debating God's Existence: Believers and Skeptics in Friendly Conversation." The book was based on a debate about God's existence between Dan Barker and Adam Lloyd Johnson and included chapters by contributors expanding on and critiquing the arguments presented. This panel featured the book's editor and several of its contributors discussing their contributions: Andrew Drinkard, Robert Koons, Daniel Linford, Benjamin Watkins, Paul Copan, Adam Lloyd Johnson, and Dan Barker. Other contributors to the book, who were not able to be at this panel discussion, include David Baggett, Robin Collins, David Enoch, Joe Folley, Philip Goff, Alex Malpass, Dolores G. Morris, Joshua Rasmussen, and Joe Schmid.

In Acts 17:16-34, Paul addresses Greek Philosophers, Epicureans and Stoics, on Mars Hill in Athens. Paul's exchange with these ancient Greek philosophers shows that, while Paul didn't subscribe to their philosophies, neither did he reject philosophy altogether. Instead, in the spirit of evangelism, Paul engaged with their ideas and philosophies to point them to Christ. Adam shows how we can learn from this interaction by Paul.

Adam addresses an argument against God's existence that is gaining popularity: the argument from divine hiddenness. Why does God seem to "hide" from us? If God really wants to have a relationship with us, then why doesn't He reveal Himself to us more? Where does God seem to be absent when I need Him? Does this mean He doesn't actually exist?

Is it biblical for Christians to be involved in politics? Should Christians avoid politics at all costs because it corrupts the church and diminishes the gospel? Should Christians work hard to take over and run the government? Or is the proper engagement somewhere in the middle? Does the Bible have any answers with regard to Christians' relationship to politics? Adam discusses the answers to these questions to help disentangle this thorny issue in this video.
